Chapter 3

Jenny was ready with it. Soon it was time for dinner and maybe she would eat dinner with Alex, or not at all because he was busy in his office.

Jenny just finished her routine. Her hair was still tied up in a haphazard manner with the clear glasses perched on her sharp nose. She walked towards the dining table where there were currently several of their household assistants there.

"Let me help," said Jenny and after that they were seen bowing respectfully and shaking their heads gently.

"Thank you, miss. Let us take care of everything. You just sit down and wait a little longer, sorry if we are late enough to prepare dinner today," said one of their household assistants.

Jenny smiled and after that nodded, "It doesn't matter, Alex isn't home yet anyway."

They of course felt weird and awkward when Jenny mentioned Alex by name alone. However, they didn't really think about all that because they all worked for Jenny and also Alex all this time.

"Am I too late?" asked Alex instantly and saw Jenny staring at him. Of course she shook her head.

Alex looks pretty messy tonight. He didn't wear his suit anymore. Just a shirt without a tie that's all. He had rolled up his shirt sleeves up to his elbows.

"Is it your work very much?" asked Jenny who felt very sorry for her father.

Alex was pleased to hear the question. In fact, he was always waiting for various kinds of questions that would be asked for him, "Not really, it's just that I fell asleep for a while at the office so I came home a little late tonight, sorry."

"No problem, I really understand you," Jenny said later.

She saw Alex still staring at her. He smiled knowingly for a moment and was imagining something else too this time with Jenny.

"Indeed, what do you already know about me?" muttered Alex in his heart.

Nothing can beat the atmosphere of the night in the city of New York today. Jenny seemed to really like the atmosphere. They always go around the city at night. It's not often, but only a few times, and even then when Alex really isn't busy with his work.

"Would you like to stop and buy something?" asked Alex then while looking at her in this time. They have stopped since then.

"I have nothing to buy for tonight, but I want to go to the park, okay?" Jenny muttered then and after that saw Alex smiling.

"Fine, but remember, don't respond to other boys who bother you later if I don't see them, understand?" Alex said and saw Jenny who nodded.

"Got it," Jenny replied happily. Finally, she could return to the park and have fun there. Even if it was only for a short time, she loved it.

During the trip, there was nothing Jenny could do but look around the city or play with her cell phone.

Alex felt that the time spent on Jenny's cellphone was too long, they didn't even talk at all at this time.

"Is there something really exciting there that you're too late with your phone?" asked Alex instantly and of course Jenny immediately deactivated her cellphone at this time.

"Sorry, it's just that I was capturing our trip," said Jenny who looked very guilty at this time.

Alex took a deep breath. No wonder Jenny was seen moving her cell phone towards their surroundings.

"Okay, go ahead, no problem," Alex replied then.

Jenny shook her head, she then put her cell phone back into the tote bag she had brought earlier, "No, you're absolutely right, I've been too late with my phone since earlier so it's better if I don't just continue."

Alex smiled contentedly at that. One of the qualities he liked about Jenny since childhood was being obedient to her. Whatever he said, of course Jenny would obey him.

"That's good then, just play on the phone as needed, got it?" Alex said then and after that she nodded.

After traveling a few minutes, they finally arrived at a park, Central Park. The beauty of the garden then made Jenny feel very happy. She never even felt bored when visiting that place.

Central Park is one of the famous parks in the world, because this park is often used as a film location and television coverage material. It is run by the private nonprofit Central Park Conservancy contracted to the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation.

On the north side, Central Park is bordered by West 110th Street (better known as Central Park North), on the west side by Central Park West, on the south side by West 59th Street (Central Park South), and on the east side by Fifth Avenue. The street on the east side of the park was never referred to as "Central Park East" but was still Fifth Avenue. Around the park there are luxurious buildings and is an area with high land prices. Amazing, right?

Several glances fell on Jenny. The girl was indeed very beautiful at her current age. In fact, they also stared in awe at Alex, who still looked handsome at his current age of 35 years. Yes, they are 17 years apart.

Alex immediately held Jenny's hand when he saw several eyes staring at Jenny at this time. Of course his protective nature immediately appeared.

Jenny was quite surprised when Alex touched her hand at this time, more precisely holding her right hand at this time. However, she thought that it was one of love and security for herself from Alex. That guy has always done it.

"Hey, Jenny," shouted a girl who was currently with some of her friends. There were three of them and of course they were currently walking to see Jenny.

Jenny looked to her side and smiled. Of course they are her school friends.

"Hi," said Jenny then. She didn't really know all of them because they weren't in the same class at all. Somehow Jenny looks quite famous in her school. According to Alex, it was all because of Jenny's friendliness, so Alex was always careful not to look too friendly with all of them. If not, then Jenny will continue to be used indirectly.

They stared at Alex for a moment. The man was still wearing his black shirt from earlier and of course he still looked handsome, especially in the eyes of girls like them.

"Jenny, you don't say if you do.

You already have a boyfriend," said one of them at this time.

"Look, your boyfriend is really handsome, is he still single?" tease one of the others. Immediately they laughed at the joke.

"Um, but-"

"Hey you guys, we better go, don't disturb Jenny who is on a date. It's Saturday night and of course they have to do it. Sorry Jenny, we are so curious. Have fun tonight," said the others back and after that they went away.

Alex smiled at that. He then looked at Jenny, "Come on, we can go there now."

Jenny stared at him for a moment and then nodded. In her mind at this time is: why do they all assume that Alex is her boyfriend?

However, Jenny did not think about it. It's better for her to enjoy tonight in the park with this Dad she loves so much.

A few moments later, Jenny's gaze was fixed on a garden that looked very unique in shape. She ran and stared in awe.

"Look," Jenny told him.

Alex, who was still standing in his position this time, smiled happily. He then took out his cellphone at this time and stared at Jenny who still looked amazed by what was in front of her.

Alex immediately captured the moment secretly. Yes, he has taken several pictures of Jenny at this time.

After getting the result, he smiled with satisfaction. The girl was very beautiful and had grown into a mature woman.
