ALYSSA’S POV I left the lobby and entered the elevator to my office floor, I dropped my bag in my office first before going to handsome punk's office to clean. XAVIER’S POV As Alyssa stepped out of my office, I took my tablet from the table and viewed the CCTV camera in her office, the hallway, and the lobby. I watched as she took out the last dollar bill in her purse with a frown and walked out to the elevator. She bumped into someone, no not someone but Miranda, I frowned thinking about why she was here. I watched how she yelled at Alyssa, who did nothing but kept quiet. She (Aly) went to the lobby but stopped at the receptionist stand, when did she became acquainted with Tania? I watched as she chatted a little before going out, she really has some nerve to chitchat in my company. I will make sure to punish her when she comes back. The door suddenly opened, distracting me from the tablet, I raised my head up and watched in horror as the human Barbie walked in. “What the hell!” I yelled, glaring at her, but she remained unfazed. “Hi Xavier.” she took a seat comfortably chewing on her gum loudly like the white she is.

ALYSSA’S POV TWO WEEKS LATER Two weeks with Mr. Xavier is like hell to me. I don’t know what’s wrong with him a minute he’s calm, the next he’s like a roaring lion. He’s like a pregnant woman with deadly mood swings or can I say a pregnant ‘man’. He’s getting more handsome and sexy each day and I love it, I don’t know what’s wrong with me, but I think I like Mr. Xavier, and I’m confused. I don’t know if I really like him or love him. Right now, we are on our way to a very important meeting in the next town, Mr. Xavier, and I were sitting in the back seat with the driver in the driver’s seat. XAVIER’S POV. I still don’t understand why that scene from earlier keeps playing in my head. I couldn’t forget how that bastard touched her ass, how he was smirking like he just made it big, I so wanted to wipe that smirk off. I got down from the car and brought my phone out and put a call across to my investigator Sam. “Hey Sam.” I called as he answered. “Good evening, boss, what can I do for you?” He asked. “I want you to investigate Fidelio Sanchez, all his shady and legal business. I want to see all on my table before the end of tomorrow.” I said. “Got it, boss.” I smiled and hung up. Just wait Fidelio you won’t know what hit you. ALYSSA’S POV. “I’m not throwing it out sir, it's just kind of stressful and I can’t do it. I’m sorry, sir.” I stood up to leave, but the next words he said made me halt. “Miss Brown, the pay is double your pay here, and it’s not that stressful. You only need to dress the child up for school, feed the child take the child to school, pick the child up, and feed the child lunch and dinner before a bedtime story then once she falls asleep you’re free to go home and come back the next day before coming to the office.” He said desperately like he was the person in need of help. The pay is good and when he mentioned the ‘child’ in all sentences, I thought the ‘child’ doesn’t have a gender. Finally, I knew it was a girl, I stared at him before replying. “You said the pay is twice my pay here,” I asked again for a better confirmation. “Affirmative.” I did a little thinking, the job is not that bad. ALYSSA’S POV. “That’s better and from now on, I’m going to call you nanny Lyssa, and I’m Chelsea.” She brought her hand out for a handshake, I stared at Chris, who gave me a wink before taking her little hand in mine. I shook my head, this one must be a smarty-pants. Gosh! She’s just like Megan, we walked out of the waiting area to the car and once Chelsea checked out like it was some company or so, we left. “So nanny Lyssa, tell me about yourself. What do you do and where do you stay?” She asked and I sighed. XAVIER’S POV. After Alyssa left the office, I was bored and felt empty, so I decided to watch the CCTV footage from the mansion and as I clicked my laptop on, I saw Alyssa in the living chatting away with Mary, smiling and laughing like they’ve been friends for ages when they just met today. My baby walked downstairs in a cute yellow jumpsuit, smiling happily as she saw Alyssa. O..... Kay, she’s smiling does that means she likes Alyssa as her Nanny, I just pray she likes Aly so she could stay forever. ‘Who wouldn’t like Aly, she’s a charmer’ my mind taunted, and I definitely agreed. She’s a charmer indeed. After a long, boring day, I checked out of my office and went to the car park. I entered the car and drove home, I was late I know, and I’m getting an earful from Chelse when I get home, that’s if she’s still awake. I purposely stayed late so that I wouldn’t meet Alyssa and I left the office when I saw her bade goodbye to both Chelsea and Mary and walked out of the gate.

❤️ ALYSSA’S POV ❤️ The sound of my ringing phone woke me up from my beautiful sleep where I was still dreaming about marrying a rich man. I groaned as I searched around for it, then picked it up when I finally got it. “Hello.” I yawned loudly. “Goodness, girl! I thought you left planet earth to Mars.” A voice I know too well yelled, and I had to bring the phone down from my ear to check the caller and true to my instincts, it was really Maddy. “Hey Maddy.” I said and chuckled nervously. “Don’t you dare ‘hey’ me, girl.” She yelled, and I sighed, rubbing my head. “I’m sorry Maddy, I know why haven't hanged out for a while now, but I’ve been busy.” I explained, and she snorted. “Yeah, too busy for your best friend.
