Chapter 10- The feast of Alphas

Camilla’s POV

The day of the feast arrived, and I stood before the mirror in my room. I wore a red gown that hugged my figure, exposing every curve of my body. A diamond necklace shimmered around my neck, a gift from my father on my last birthday.

The makeup artist and hair stylist worked on transforming me into an elegant lady, and I couldn't help but smile back at my reflection as I admired myself.

Just then, Marcel burst into the room, his high spirits evident as his laughter echoed off the walls of my room. My father was coming for the ball, and we had no choice but to bring him along.

“Careful, Marcel,” I called out, trying to contain my amusement. I could see how happy he was.

“You don’t want to hurt yourself, and that would mean no feast for you tonight,” I added, and he froze where he stood, wearing a little suit paired with a red tie.

He walked towards me and looked up at me. “Sorry, mother,” he apologized, and I giggled because I could see how excited he was to go to the feas
