Ezio:

The wolves looked at the raging Alpha for a second before one of them went to lunge on Ariana. The child’s eyes widened in surprise and had it not been for Iris, who jumped in front of him. He bit her shoulder making her whimper before I jumped on the wolf, biting his neck, making him fall limp.

I let him go and looked at Iris who whimpered in pain as her shoulder and arm bleed. I rubbed my muzzle over her own. Helping her stand as she seemed to lose her balance, wanting to get her away from the burning building.

The Alpha ran to his daughter, lifting her in his arms, hugging her tightly for a second before tearing Iris’s dress from her face. He walked away from the fire, watching as I helped Iris limp, her body weight barely carrying her.
