Chapter 1

Location: Werewolf Castle Hall, Supreme Kingdom

Alexandra found this as a perfect means to escape her marriage. She always wished to find her mate. But, when it turned out to be King Nathan, King of the Werewolf Kingdom, her excitement died.

Years ago, King Nathan ordered for her pack to be slain just because the Alpha committed treason against him. She escaped by the skin of her teeth but lost all her friends and family.

Last month, during the annual werewolf ball, she was drawn by a sweet scent like that of dewdrops. She ran amidst gasps and was met in the middle of the ballroom by a strong pair of arms and a deep growl. In unison, they said one thing, MATE.

Her happiness was short-lived when she stepped back to find all werewolves on their knees. When she looked up at her mate, it was the King.

"Your Majesty. You..... You're my mate". She stuttered and his eyes turned red.

She was bitter but her wolf was the happiest she had ever been. As a result of her wolf's over excitement and that of the King's, the King marked her that very night, right after the ball.

Now, today was her wedding and coronation. She wasn't one bit happy but her wolf was.

Thankfully, an ancient wizard that had been harboring a grudge against the King, showed up early in the morning and ruined the feast. While everyone was busy running helter-skelter, trying to refix everything, Alexandra slipped silently into the woods and ran.

All the guards were on a hot chase, trying to catch the wizard. She finally ran into unknown woods. Just as she was trying to have a pin on her location, she bumped into someone and fell. They both rolled over.

"Who are you?" Alexandra stood upright and asked.

"I should be asking you that wolf. For you are on vampire grounds". The girl replied.

"Just Alexandra? You look like a bride. Are you running away from your wedding? And what's with that crown on your head?" The girl asked.

"I should be asking you that vampire".

"Wait! You're the Vampire King's bride". Alexandra said.

"And you're the Werewolf King's bride". The girl gasped.

"We're both trying to escape our wedding!" They said in unison.

"You're still on Vampire land". Alexandra said.

"Shoot! We need to get out of here now. I'm Diana by the way". The girl said.

They started running again.

Location: Unknown, Supreme Kingdom

Vanessa found herself slowly standing up. Her companions were still looking at her.

"Wizard. Do you think you can fool us with the looks of a woman?" The naked man said.

"Me? A wizard?" Vanessa asked, cleaning her butt.

"Mind link the offer guards that we've found the wizard". The naked man addressed the two wolves.

"Mr. I think you should get dressed first. Then we can have a proper and decent conversation". Vanessa said, rating the man up and down.

"Don't try playing smart with me. You're a man like me. You better transform back to your looks". The naked man said.

Vanessa then realized one thing. The wolves and naked man couldn't see the kneeling man. They weren't his pet, they were looking for him 

"I think you must be looking for this man". Vanessa said, pointing at the kneeling man who froze over in shock.

"Are you trying to say I'm blind? I've had enough of you". The naked man said and strode over to Vanessa who dodged his grip and brushed the kneeling man with the hem of her blouse.

The naked man stopped in his tracks.

"How?"

The wizard knew it was a game up for him. He tried to disappear but couldn't. The young lady had done more than break his spell, she had rendered him powerless.

"Who are you to have taken away my magic?" The wizard shouted at Vanessa.

Vanessa heard the sound of many foots and paws and took to her heels.

She ran through woods. What had she gotten herself into? Wolves were hot on her tail. Did she run into something she wasn't supposed to discover?

She heard two footsteps approaching her from the right and she paused. She could hear the distant howling of wolves.

"Hey there! Who are you?" Two ladies about her age said, emerging from the woods. They looked like brides with crowns on their heads.

"I'm Vanessa and I'm lost in these woods with some wolves chasing after me. I just wanna find my way back to the city. Can you help me?" She said.

"Which city?"

"You're human aren't you?"

"Of course I'm human. Aren't you? Who are you?"

"I'm Alexandra". The one on green said.

"And I'm Diana". The one on red said.

"But her blood doesn't smell like human. It doesn't even smell like any supernatural". Diana said.

"And I can't pin her scent". Alexandra said, sniffing the air.

"Don't tell me you are one of those weirdos chasing me". Vanessa said, shuddering.

"Some wolves, I saw one of them turn into a man. They were searching for some wizard that was right in front of them, yet they couldn't see him. They thought I was the wizard. I finally made them see him. Now, they're hot on my tail". Vanessa said.

"If the guards couldn't see the wizard, how could she?" Diana whispered to Alexandra who shrugged.

"Well, I'm Diana like I told you. I'm supposed to be married to the Vampire King today but I don't want to marry him. So, I'm running away with a lot of Vampires chasing after me". Diana said.

"Vam...Vampires don't exist. They're myths". Vanessa stuttered.

"So you think?" Diana asked, elongating her canines, her eyes turning red.

Vanessa opened her mouth to scream but stopped halfway when they heard the howling of wolves.

"That's our queue to run". Alexandra said and they took to their heels.

"I'm Alexandra like I said earlier and I'm supposed to be married to the Werewolf King today but I don't want to and that's how we found ourselves here. All of us, running!" Alexandra said while they continued running.

"Alex. I don't think she knows what a werewolf is". Diana said.

"Oh. That wolf you saw, turning into a man is a werewolf. I'm like him". Alexandra said.

"I might faint anytime soon!" Vanessa exclaimed.

"How did you even end up here?" Diana asked.

"Through the woods". She replied.

"Alex, is there any woods that connects us with the human settlement?" Diana asked.

"None that I know of". Alexandra replied.

They bursted out of the woods and unto a beach. They were met with a sea. Waves clapping.

"There they are". They heard a man's voice in the distance.
