Chapter 72

Alpha Alfredo’s Pov.

A knock got me from my bed, sending me running to the door at that very second. I could not get hold of Alpha Farrell with a mobile line and had to do it the old-fashioned way by sending a messenger to his pack.

Dex had said my message wouldn’t reach him as literally few people knew the entrance to Nightshade pack, and if caught roaming aimlessly around the Pack, it was an immediate death sentence.

I was not a fervent believer of the goddess, but I prayed like never before to her and to any other god out there to make the messenger I sent over to Nightshade's Pack to come back in one piece.

I had lost hope as days had passed without hearing from him when I heard a knock on the door, followed by Sarah's voice.

"Alpha Alfredo," she called from the other end.

“Yes, Sarah, What is it?” I asked, as I opened the door.

She stood with the messenger I sent, and my lips stretched into a smile, because it meant one thing; my message was delivered.

“Leave us alone,” I said
