I suddenly felt a little uneasy in my heart. I don't think Darian will help me because he's always wary of me; even in his eyes, he looks at me with disgust, like I'm his enemy.

I didn't know what to do; my body stiffened, sitting still, not moving.

Luna Layla's face panicked. Maybe she thinks Darian is away. She always wanted to be a good mother, so she didn't want Darian to see her ferocious. Luna Layla immediately said, "Darian, why are you here? Didn't Gwen say you weren't here? When did you come back?"

Darian slowly walked over; he looked at me, cold eyes mixed with a bit of disapproval. Then he sat down on the sofa next to me.

In my heart, I suddenly realized that he criticized me for being sloppy, so he didn't sit next to me. But he also doesn't sit next to Luna Layla.

"What do you believe Gwen says? I still go home often, not like what she said. On top of that, Violet didn't bully her. What she's doing is trying to slander Violet." Darian said coldly.
