Scarlett struggled as someone grabbed her from behind and dragged her towards her room. Startled, she was ready to use her magic when the attacker spoke in her ear in whispers,

"Don't panic, it's me."

Scarlett froze for a moment.

"Rona...!" she hit his hand slightly, signalling him to remove it from her mouth. Rona loosened his grip, and they both walked inside Scarlett's room. Once inside the house, Rona closed the door immediately.

Scarlett was furious.

"What the heck, Rona? What are you...?" "Shhh...please keep it low," Rona requested, hushing her to be quiet.

Scarlett shot him a confusing glance. She had been trying so hard to talk to him in private from the moment he made that stupid deal with Adrian, but she didn't get the chance to do so. Now, he came to her in the middle of the night, and she may have killed him because she thought he was an intruder.
