It had been a week since Jengo agreed to train Ellie again. Unlike the first time she was put through the special training, Ellie did not have that hard a time going through them. The regime was the same as last time, and they were extremely challenging, but her body was not screaming in agony throughout the process. Even Jengo found it amazing how she managed to keep up with him, albeit barely. In the time the two werewolves spent together training, the relationship between them also improved. Things were rocky at first, but after working out the first few times, the pair finally got along, somewhat. One would not say they were friends, but at the very least neither were hostile to one another. Seeing them at this way, without any sort of conflict going on between them, caught many by surprise. William… was tired. He was exhausted, he was pooped, he was… just tired. ‘How many incidents does this make…?’ he wondered, for he had to make amends to another werewolf accused of being a traitor. He lost count of the number of times he had done this, just as much as he lost count of the number of times he told the werewolves aware of the pack’s hidden situation to be ‘delicate’ about the matter. And he was sure he had repeated himself to several of those wolves a good amount of times now. Yet… instead of having an easier time with his job, it’s only been getting more and more troublesome. “Sometimes, I have to wonder if those werewolves I kept warning are those spies…” he muttered to himself. He wanted to take that as a possibility, but those very wolves he spoke of? Some of those were elders who had been loyal to the Devorare Pack long before he was born, when his father ruled. Such old geezers like them would obviously be extremely overprotective of their home. As for the rest?

Ellie and Jengo sat in Samantha's office, waiting for the healer to give them permission to leave. Ellie had just finished a checkup on Samantha's insistence, and even told her of the exhaustion she was going through, when the strangest thing happened. Not on her, as it was more on the healer's side. Earlier when the healer was giving Ellie a checkup on her condition, she had an assistant here. However, after the examination, after Ellie gave details about what her body went through in all that exhaustion, Samantha whispered something to her assistant, and had her leave the office. That night, many werewolves gathered in the plaza at William's order. At first, some people did not believe Nelson when the guy told them that William ordered for this meeting to happen- specifically the overly cautious authority werewolves. Thankfully, Jengo came by and confirmed the message, as well as helped spread word. While the Beta did not know why the meeting has changed into a public setting for all werewolves, he knew William well enough; he knew something must've happened that called for a large gathering.
