CHAPTER 4

Jessica's POV

I walked gradually towards the end of the forest under the thick covers of the night with a dark smile hanging on my face and a hood to hide my face from the public

I got the picture of the Alpha's Luna and the evidence that she was murdered, my claw, and the piece of cloth and I brought out a lighter from my pocket and set them ablaze.

"Such a fool," I said to myself with an evil frown hanging on my face.

"Just the same way these pieces of thrash are burning, that's the same way I will watch you burn," I said to myself as my face twisted with hate and disgust.

I smiled to myself remembering that night I had forced Elsa to write a suicide note and I eventually poisoned her.

And now, I was going to make sure he sees it as suicide and nothing else.

I waited outside for my master. I was a spy from the Red moon pack, sent to render the Alpha powerless after which my people were going to attack the pack and burn it down to the ground and he was gradually for my pranks.

"He thinks I love him," I said to myself as a burst of dark laughter escaped from my mouth.

"He is such a fool. Soon, he would end up like that unfortunate mate of his. But for him, I am going to give him a slow death just as he had always considered my pack as weaklings," I said to myself.

Soon, I heard a branch breaking in the thick woods and I knew that he was around, the Beta of my pack, my father

"Good day father," I said with a slight bow, dropping down my hood from my head.

"How are you doing my daughter," he inquired with his deep voice that seemed to make all the trees in the forest shiver.

"I am doing great father," I said to him.

 "And your quest?" He inquired.

At the sound of the word, a dark smile hovered on my lips before answering his question.

"Going just as planned," I replied. "He fell for the mating scent spell made by the diviner and he is so madly in love with me or I would say, madly in love with his death," I said as a burst of dark laughter escaped from my mouth and my father joined in.

"Soon, he would be nothing more than a puppet in our hands and the pack would be ours and that of our Alpha," my father said to me with his dark smile hanging on his face.

"And you must be focused on this mission, daughter, do not be distracted by anything," he said to me.

"You Know that can never happen, father, never," I returned, making him nod his head in satisfaction.

I watched as he produced a liquid substance stored in a container and handed it to me.

I stared at it for some time, confused about what it was and what I was going to use it for.

"What's this for father," I inquired quickly.

"It's a poison that would weaken the Alpha's wolf and render him powerless," he said to me.

"And after that, we would attack him while he is so weak and he will watch his pack fall into our hands right before his eyes and he would not be able to do anything about it," he said to me.

A dark smile hung on my face as I stared into the face of my father.

"How do I use it father," I inquired.

"Spray it on some grains and cook the grains for him the next morning, the poison would do the rest of the job," he said to me.

"Okay father, I will do just as you have said," I said.

"You will have to go now lest someone sees you out here," he said to me.

"Okay father," I replied and began to walk away. Soon, the pack would be ours and there would be nobody to stand in our way.

But now, how was Going to return to the pack house and add this to his uncooked meal," I thought in my head.

But on second thought, who was going to stop me from moving anywhere I wanted to in the pack house?

I was Alpha's deceived mate and I had deceived all of them into thinking that I could not hurt a fly, blinding them with love and affection.

I walked swiftly to the pack house and met that the gates were already locked.

"What do I do now," I said to myself looking at the container carefully hidden in my inner robe.

"I will have to rely on luck this time," I said to myself.

I tapped on the gate and waited for a response. A few minutes later, the door parted open and the gate warrior was shocked to see me standing before him.

"My lady," he said with a slight bow.

"Please come in," he said to me quickly and locked the gates.

"What are you doing out here by this time of the night," he said to me and I knew that it was the perfect time to put up my play.

"I could not stop thinking about Nathan, I want to spend the night with him, is there a problem with that?" I inquired.

"Certainly not," he said quickly. "Just wait here, I will inform him that you are around," he said to me and turned to leave but I stopped him in his tracks.

"There would be no need for that, you will get into a lot of trouble waking him up from his sleep, I will do it myself," I replied with a friendly smile hanging on my face.

"Okay, if you say so," he replied and I pulled away from him.

"Such a fool I," I said to myself with a dark grin hanging on my face.

I walked into the bright pack house and walked over to the door of Alpha Nathan.

"Tap, tap," I tapped lightly on the door.

"Who is there," the Alpha thundered from Inside.

"It's me, love," I whispered in my sweet voice.

I heard some footsteps and a few minutes later the door parted open and I walked in.

He was shocked to see me there but I had already prepared an explanation in my head.

"Sorry to bother you," I said in my head.

"I could not stop thinking about you all day and the fact that you would need someone beside you," I lied.

"So much for me? But you should not have jeopardized your life for my sake," he said to me.

"I can't live without you Nathan so I had to be here to be sure that you are okay," I said to him.

 "Thanks love," he returned.

"I will be back in a minute, I want to get water from the kitchen," I said to him.

"I will just get one of the maids," he tried to say but I would not give him breathing space to complete his statement.

"Don't worry, I can get it myself," I returned.

I walked over slowly to the kitchen, staring side by side to see if anyone was coming. When I got to the kitchen, I brought out the liquid and sprayed it on a small quantity of grain that I was going to prepare for the stupid Alpha the next morning.

"Tomorrow, I will make you the most delicious and also the most deadly meal," I said to myself with a dark smile hanging on my face.

"They are all a bunch of idiots indeed.
