Alek growled with wild abandon in me and I clenched my fists to restrain it from causing havoc. At the sight of our mate being kicked and slapped by John, I felt weak for the first time in my twenty-eight years.

I had ruled the pack and this world for the past fifteen years. And for the first time, someone was touching what was mine. Trampling on what was mine.
