A Little Make-Over

"Damn! You look good!"

"How good?" I asked Raine on Saturday when we finally got time away from work to tend to our personal business.

She stared at my reflection through the long dressing mirror of the shopping mall, sweeping a hair away from my face.

"Good enough to eat, you know, in that way."

That of course earned her a disgusted expression from me, my lips turned down jokingly. "Yuck."

She gave me the middle finger.

"But seriously, you haven't told me what prompted this decision." She was staring at me curiously, but I would shrink before I admitted to the humiliation I had gone through.

My new look stared back at me in the mirror. My auburn hair had been cut to shoulder length and tinted at the tips.

Although I wasn't wearing any make-up, my slightly tanned skin glowed more with the spa treatment we had undergone. Waxing my legs made me see how smooth and long they really were.

With the shoulder length straight hair, I looked more mature and exotic and features like high ch
