Goodnight Stranger

Shivering! My whole body was trembling as cold gust of wind blew tirelessly.

The night was dark and cloudless—no moon was in sight.

But I wasn't scared. Why would I be scared?

Besides the fact that I was a super-strong werewolf, I was really good at martial arts.

From what I had sensed, I doubted that any werewolves were in this town. So, I could defend myself no matter the trouble that came.

But the only thing I couldn't do was get a cab.

I had been standing by the roadside for over forty minutes and still no luck—no vehicle, not even a bicycle. No body was in sight.

Could I possibly sleep at the coffee shop? Or would the old lady even let me?

Just when I was about giving up, I saw the bright headlights of a roaring motorbike from afar.

"Hey!!" I said, moving to the centre of the road and waving my hands. "Hey!!"

The bike rode past me and I was about cursing whosoever the rider was, when I heard the engine come to a stop.
