shouts from a building behind ours woke me up. I walked to my tiny kitchen and looked out the window. Police officers were gathered around a room, as I observed.

I hurriedly put on a white t-shirt and went over to see what was happening.

I squeezed my muscular body through the crowd, I saw blood flowing out of the door. It was Dario's blood. He was lying dead on his bed with a thick scratch all over his body. He was still in a police uniform. I believe he perished while battling an entity that was not a person.

To conduct an autopsy, we transported the body to the police lab. My telephone rang. I received a call from Konrad. He gave me the location of his hidden house key and requested I bring him some money he kept in his room.

I went outside the hospital.

Although I believe I am older than Konrad in age, he is my superior in police rank since military law requires that we submit to our superiors.
