Chapter 6: The Disdained Second Miss

The door was suddenly pushed open at this time, and a row of bodyguards in black suits came in with fierce momentum.

Jenny was delighted and subconsciously wanted to stand up to greet Rex. However, Kincaid held her back and said, "Don't move. Be reserved."

"Well."

Jenny answered in a low voice, her face already flushed with shyness.

The bright light from outside poured in, setting off the tall and straight man. He walked in slowly in a suit.

Rex's face was expressionless, just like a King on patrol. An air of nobility surrounded him.

"Rex!" Kincaid stood up enthusiastically. "You're finally back! I haven't seen you for a few years, but you've become even more handsome!"

"Uncle."

Rex spoke elegantly, but his tone was slightly colder.

He pretended to avoid Kincaid's hand unintentionally, and his slightly knitted eyebrows showed his displeasure at the moment.

"Mr. Gavyn, I'm Jenny. Nice to meet you!" Jenny smiled shyly and stretched out her slender fingers.

Rex Gavyn, from his hair to his fingertips, revealed a temperament that forbade lust. Jenny liked this kind of mature man who was successful and charming!

"Got that."

Rex spoke coldly and did not shake hands with Jenny. He sat on the sofa, crossed his long legs, looked up, and said, "Uncle, Mrs. Walters, I think you should know why I'm here today."

Jenny and Kincaid looked at each other and said, "Understood!"

Today, Rex had come to propose a baby marriage to them. Kincaid's face was wreathed in smiles, and he rubbed his hands nervously.

"Rex, you know about the relationship between your father and me. Now that your Gavyn Family has become rich, if I hurry to propose to you, there will inevitably be people saying that I'm serving the time……"

Rex's sharp eyes narrowed and flashed with a secretive light.

Kincaid Walters was indeed a cunning old fox.

"When my father made an agreement with you, the Gavyn Family did not develop as well as it is now," Rex said politely, but there was still a trace of arrogance in his tone. "So there is no such thing as social promotion. Who dares to talk nonsense?"

"Yes, yes, yes." Kincaid was very satisfied with Rex's answer. His face was full of wrinkles, and he directly pressed Jenny's shoulder and sent her forward. "Jenny graduated from a famous university, and her business means are very good……"

Listening to Kincaid's endless praises of Jenny, Rex's eyes were filled with anger. He rubbed his temples irritably and looked around the living room.

He didn't see the little woman.

Didn't she live here?

This realization displeased Rex. Clare saw it and immediately went forward to ask respectfully, "Mr. Gavyn?"

"Go and get the betrothal gifts."

Rex spoke coldly as if he were not discussing his marriage but rather a deal.

When the Walters Family's father and daughter saw the sparkling diamond, their eyes lit up.

Even though Jenny was used to big occasions, she was slightly surprised.

Rex was too generous! It was probably impossible to get these beautiful pink diamonds without spending 100 million dollars!

Jenny was secretly delighted. She thought she must be the happiest bride in the world!

At this moment, Rex pretended to ask unintentionally, "I heard that the Walters Family has two daughters. Where is Second Miss?"

Jenny's expression immediately darkened, and the smile on Kincaid's face froze. "Yes…… Did that girl make you angry? Please spare her for Uncle's sake. That child has always been reckless and careless. She doesn't look like a noble lady at all."

Kincaid's face was full of disdain at the mention of Wendy.

Rex's eyes flickered, and he said indifferently, "She did make me angry, and I'll settle this score with her slowly."
