Lucian did his researches about his annex South Side and found out that the company was still under construction but got dropped because of the sudden death of the building planner or what you would call the architect in charge.

So, he decided to create awareness for a new architect to take up the contract. He needed the company running in no distant time. After putting words across online, he got so many recommendations from friends and well wishers, so many people even called his office in West Side about their capability and proficiency in the job. But Lucian is that type of man that would always go for classy and professionally standard people. Sorry, but he meant no offense.

A particular person got so many referrers but Lucian was waving it aside because probably the referee happened to be a lady.

He doesn't want to trust a lady to draw his company's building plan. How good would the job look? What risks would I be open to?

Lucian couldn't help but look at the pros and cons.

After taking all the suggested names from different people.

He called Mr. Winker and asked him to write down the names of fifteen most referred referees and put words across to them for their possible interview with the firm soon.

Five minutes and Mr. Winker was done with the assignment.

Gawwd! This man could possibly pass for a robot, no wonder he had no rival.

Looking at the list, Lucian pressed his lips tightly together when he saw the first name on the list. It was the Lady referee who strangely happened to be the only lady on the list.

"Mr.Winker, why is a lady's name the first on my architectural list? Am I a joke to you to think I would trust a lady to do my building plan?"

Lucian asked in his exasperation.

"But, Sir, she was the most referred architect even Chris Evans recommended her services too. She must be very good, Sir, you just have to interview her and see if she meets up with your standards. No offense, Sir."

Mr. Winker replied politely.

On a second thought, Lucian found a point in what Mr. Winker opined, he just have to interview her and make sure she is not overrated as he had always assumed. Giving Mr. Winker a considering eye scan, he dismissed him.

Well, this man is good with his job, Lucian couldn't help but give him credits for that.

So, the day of the interview was fixed and the fifteen of them were asked to come with their CV's.

Arriving West Side that morning, Selene was in a very high spirit not knowing what and what awaited her.

She found the city very busy but social as people commended her beautiful features.

Most of the ladies who couldn't get enough of her would ask for her five minutes and they would take selfies with her, sometimes full body pictures.

Some would go as far as asking if her hair was a wig or an extension and she would simply reply, no and have them wowing in amazement.

She had an apartment of her own. Mother Queila made sure she lacked nothing and also made sure she kept a low profile, she is no human and too much exposure would put her to risks.

Settling down and making a fruit juice which Celia thought her how to make, she opened her phone and found a message from Lucian's company asking for her visitation to the Firm with her CV for possible interview.

She smiled and nodded in contempt, Mother Queila is just too good at what she does. She thought to herself.

It's now up to her to not spoil the show, so, she thought of going to shop for some working suits and shoes, she had never had the need to keep one untill now.

Outside her room, she was locking her door when she heard some keys rattling beside her, it was her next door neighbor locking her door too.

When their eyes met, her neighbor gave her a wide grin which she reluctantly gave back.

"Looks like you're new here. I haven't seen you around."

She said and Selene nodded towards her.

"I'm Stephanie by the way."

Stephanie said, offering Selene her hand as they gave each other a hand shake.

"Selene, nice to meet you too"

Selene took her time in accessing Stephanie.

She looks very gorgeous, slightly taller than her with maybe an inch or two.

She is indeed beautiful and her brunette hair matched her caramel skin perfectly.

She seems very cool too.

"So, Selene, where are you headed?"

"To any boutique around. I want to shop for a working dress."

"Great! Makes the two of us. I also want to get new Victoria secret lingeries for my photo shoots tomorrow."

"What do you do?"

Selene asked trying to match Stephanie's energy as the both of them headed downstairs.

"I'm a model. Face, body, legs. You?"

Okay, now that question right there is a strong bone to chew. Selene doesn't know how to proudly say that she is a professional architect and already landed her self one of the biggest contract in town, everything felt so sus.

Trying to form a nice sentence, Stephanie was looking at her to answer her hanging question that's about a minute now. Or was she not loud enough?

"I uhh. I'm an architect. You Know, building designer."

Okay that last sentence came out wrongly darn it!

"Wow! That's nice. It's hard to see a lady around here with such profession. Don't worry. I would drive us to GO CLASSY, they are the best around here."

Selene felt relieved, Stephanie didn't press on her answer. She has a girlie red Volkswagen and they hopped in and zoomed off to GO CLASSY.

GO CLASSY is a nice boutique and they sold quality dresses, the prices relatively affordable. Stephanie seemed actually like a home name around there, because everyone seemed to know her and she was nice enough to introduce Selene to everyone around. Selene got herself three work dresses and shoes while Stephanie got her Victoria secret lingeries of different colours.

Coming out of the boutique, Stephanie suggested they went to an ice cream parlour.

It was just across the boutique. Getting there, Selene chose a chocolate mint chip while Stephanie chose a strawberry flavoured cream. It was Selene's first time of tasting one and she felt like taking the whole parlour home. They tasted so nice.

"So, do you have any relationship going on?"

Stephanie asked licking her cream spoon.

"No, not all, why?"

Selene replied arching her brow.

"Because you are too beautiful to be single in West Side darling. I would have asked you to come and join the modelling community if not for the fact you already have a job going on. You would do tremendously well."

Selene said with her face glued to her plate and her hands busy with scooping her cream.

Selene gave a hearty smile to the compliment. It was not the first time she got such compliments that day, but it sounded nice coming from Stephanie.

"Thanks. The job suits you well too. What about you?"

"Well, I use to be, but we broke up not long ago. I can't deal with distant relationships, it sucks."

Stephanie said wrinkling her nose at the thought of it.

Selene and Stephanie had a good time in each other's company. When they finished at the parlour, they left for their apartments and said goodnight to each other.

Selene called Celia and gave her hints on how the going had been, after which she turned to her side and slept off, feeling very tired.
