Stephan's POV

"Hi, I was waiting for you guys to come outside, but you have been cooped up in there forever."

"So I decided to call on you guys to see whether you have changed your mind about going out."

This woman is jobless; she is always following us around, and it is starting to piss me off.

"Ashley, please don't take this the wrong way; I say this to you from the place of love." I quoted a line from a movie I watched.

"Get yourself busy; don't make our business your priority."

"We will go out when we want to go out; it is not your damn business what we decide."

She frowned, then started fidgeting with the hem of her dress.

Her face was lowered to the floor like a child, showing that his feelings were hurt and she was trying to hold them in.

"I am sorry, I did not mean to bother you guys. I was so excited when I saw you both. It has been lonely coming here. I thought if I stuck with you both, I wouldn't feel that way anymore."

"I know Clary doesn't like me.
