"Whatever my business here in New York City is none of your business. So, better shut your mouth if you don't want me to cut off your..." I was supposed to say to cut off his throat but then I remembered Papa's advice.

Even if I kept on thinking and following Papa's advice, could not help but feel indignant toward the first two humans I've encountered. I expected humans are welcoming. That they could help me find Nathalie as soon as possible, especially when her eighteenth birthday is fast approaching.

However, the thought was a huge mistake. Papa was right about them. Humans can't be trusted. And that was my first lesson upon encountering one.
