He almost looked like he had given up. But he quickly changed his stance, keeping his feet apart and wide to balance himself as he raised his fisted hands up, looking like he was ready to fight.

He didn't want to give up, I could see that. He wanted to at least fight until his chances of escaping became slim to none.

I stayed waiting, expecting him to attack. But I guess he wasn't stupid after all.

Because he didn't attack. He went straight for the one who didn't have a gun in his hands, and that was Kevin.

I quickly raised my gun up when the man locked his arm around Kevin's neck from behind.

Kevin looked annoyed. He could get out of that hold, I knew he could. What worried me was the gun Kevin had that was now in the reach of the man's hand.

Kevin collected his strength to flip the man over his shoulder, but before he could, the man pushed him away.

He no longer needed Kevin because he got his gun.

He pointed the gun to me.

"Drop your guns, or I will shoot." He warned, knowing well
