SIXTEEN | Not A Time To compare

The Lycan King's face flashed across my mind and I couldn't take my mind off it. The sharp but beautiful smiles he gives when no one is looking and the calmness on his face when he speaks to Jason. Thinking about those smiles, got me smiling too. It also caught me wondering why someone like him ended up as a monster. Though he doesn't speak to any one of us, neither does he come close, I could tell how nice he is through Jason.

Then how has Jason been coping with him? I wondered. Do the Lycans know that their Alpha and King is a monster, who kills and feeds on blood?

I shrugged aside the thought and decided it was best to go on with my work. Time was already far spent and there was still a lot of work to do. While I tried to work as fast as I could, my hands were failing me. I soon got tired and decided to take a rest.

A little rest is not a crime. I thought as I sat down to rest.
