Chapter Sixty-six

Noah's POV

David had told me to take it easy on my feet but I didn't listen, I rushed to Storm and covered her mouth with my fingers before she could complete her statement. I felt a small twinge in my lower back because of my quick movement.

She thrashed against my hand and bit it. I drop the hand and stepped back.

"Why the hell did you do that?!" She yelled at me. I stared at her in surprise.

"Why did I do that? Why the hell were you trying to reject me? Have you gone insane?"

" No, I'm doing what I should have done a long time ago, I should have rejected you the day we might. I can't believe that I let myself be dragged into your disastrous life. I had rejected you earlier on, I wouldn't have gone through all this pain and trauma." Anger rolled off her and she shot daggers at me. The door slammed, and I looked back to see that Jasper had exited the house. He must have known that the conversation Storm and I were about to have wasn't going to be an easy one.
