Stanley rushed Lana into the hospital, and the doctors quickly attended to her. The bleeding was stopped, and they were informed that they had lost one of the babies.

Because of the force used when Lana fell, she went into premature delivery and gave birth to her babies at seven months. However, one of the children, her daughter, died, leaving only the son. He was put in an incubator while Lana remained unconscious.

Stanley sat by her bedside, staring at her, filled with so much anger. When he couldn't take it anymore, he got up and called the police commissioner who was his friend, "I want Gerald arrested and locked up for the rest of his life, no matter what it takes."
