Ted stood in front of the window staring motionlessly at the emblem in his palm. He was in his office, it was a hideout. A casino during the day and at night was where he carried out the better part of his unorthodox job. This was where he met with potential clients both wolves and human mobsters.

For two days since Bruno’s confession that led nowhere and since the appearance of the mating emblem on his palm, he had retreated.

It made no sense to him. A Hunter and a wolf?
