CHAPTER EIGHTEEN

Nate didn't ask for the medical report yesterday, so I assumed she was prolly occupied, and didn't want to disturb her, besides I got back late.

I was to officially resume today, and could still feel the tension, I felt yesterday. "He is not a monster, breathe." I reminded myself of Nate's words, as a way of relaxing my nerves.

Staring at my reflection in the mirror has become an habit for me, lately. My hands ran through my stomach, as I tried to feel for any movement. I know I was being silly, because it's too early for that.

Reaching out for my hair, I tried dressing it just like the way Nate did yesterday. The result wasn't as beautiful as hers though. My name tag laid on the bed, and I stared at with admiration, like it was golden. It read 'PERSONAL ASSISTANT TO DANIEL BRADFORD, KHLOE JACOB'. Just tell me, who won't be grateful for this?

My necklace was still fitted on my neck, so, all I had to do, was dress up, and place my tag on my suit, which I did within minutes.
