Alpha Baron's POV

Seeing the elders alone, I already knew their mission. They were here to express their displeasure but I wasn't bothered.

“Your highness, welcome back.” Elder Ryan said as they all curtised.

“Thank you.” I replied, staring intently at them.

“When did you return from your trip?” Elder Callum asked, they all were still on their feets.

“Please have your seats.” I said, pointing towards the couch as I left my swivel chair.

“Alpha Baron, this discussion isn't one that should be done whilst sitting down. The rogues are becoming bold with each passing day since you have refused to lift up a finger to put them in their place.” He slammed at me.

Pointing towards the door, I followed his fingers but there was nothing there and so I returned my gaze to him.

“Just last night, a pregnant woman was attacked by a rogue. With the help of Richard, your Beta, we combed the pack that night but there was no sign of the rogue…”
