Alpha Baron's POV

Albert’s interruption was sudden.

If I had know he was trailing after me, I wouldn't have bothered going after Naomi only to be slapped in the face with this kind of embarrassment.

Grabbing my steering wheel with both hands, I stepped on the throttle so hard, I was practically flying the road. I only released the pressure when I barely missed an old lady, sending her into a panic shock.

Luckily for me, her caretaker was around the corner and so I didn't have to spend time with her.

Immediately I pulled up in the garage, Beta Richard walked up to me and after a curt how, he began to fill me in with what had happened.

“You mean the whole pack was combed and there was no sight of rogues?” I asked, slamming the door of my car shut as I followed him into the building.
