Chapter Eighty-Three

Ricky’s POV

I made my way out of Shannon’s room a couple of hours later whistling a familiar tune as I made my way back to the study. The hours I spent in her arms were always the best part of his day, he always waited the whole day to go back into her room and have sex with sweet, innocent Shannon.

She couldn’t seem to reject me and while I liked a little bit of stubbornness sometimes, I loved her naivety, it seemed so precious to me sometimes.

I walked past the balcony as I looked outside, it was a full moon tonight which meant it was a good sign. The castle was quiet save for the guards I knew would be on duty now, working in the shadows.

I eventually got to the study and made my way inside. The last time I checked my watch, it was past two in the morning. I had to catch some sleep to feel properly rested ahead of my meetings tomorrow.
