Maxwell didn't have much of a reaction as he stared down at the idiot who coveted his wife.

A dark glint flashed in his eyes and he sneered. "You bought this bracelet from Mrs. Lowe, right? It must have cost at least a million dollars. I doubt Dad and your mom would give you that much. So, tell me, where did you get the money from?"

"I..." Jordan panicked and made up an excuse, "I borrowed it."

Maxwell nodded. "You'd better not be lying. I've already ordered the finance department to freeze the company accounts. I will investigate the accounts soon."

"Maxwell..." Jordan's heart dropped and he lowered his tone. "I'll pay it back. Don't make things hard for me, we're brothers after all."

Jordan was basically admitting to embezzling company funds.

Maxwell wasn't surprised and scoffed at him. "You're something else! Using company funds to buy gifts for women! Do you think Jennifer would accept you if she found out? This gift is stolen goods. Would she dare wear it?"

"Don't tell Jen
