Chapter 88: Her children's life

“Ahhhh!” Trey was drying himself in the bathroom when he heard Lisa's piercing cry. He quickly wrapped the towel around his waist and hurried into the bedroom, only to find Lisa writhing in agony, clutching her abdomen tightly.

Trey approached her and placed his hand on her forehead. Thankfully, she wasn't running a fever, but the pain was evident on her face. He felt a sense of helplessness wash over him as he asked worriedly.

"Jade, what's wrong with you?"

"I think it's my period, but the cramps are unbearable," Lisa responded weakly.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to hurt you. I didn't know," Trey replied, feeling regretful.

"No, I didn't realize either. I remember having some cramps in the morning, but since it wasn't my usual date, I didn't pay attention to it," Lisa explained, shaking her head. Trey nodded and lifted the blanket to check, and indeed, she had stained the bed. He said,

"You are bleeding. How can I help you?"

"I have some tampons in the lower cabinet in the bathroom.
