“Marylin’s room? But why?”
“Well like what happened with the diary, we thought that if you stayed in her room and slept in her bed, maybe being in the same places she has been might help you remember something useful from your past life. Marylin spent a lot of time there writing. Maybe you might even have a flashback or something if you stayed in the same environment that she did. We don’t know if it will work, but we think it’s worth giving it a shot.”“Then let’s do it!” Joana said. “When would you like to move there?” Derick asked her. “Since you said we aren’t having any lessons today, how about right now?”“Ok then, get your things ready, Dana and I will have it cleaned for you then you can move your things there yourself. You’ll only need to move your clothes.” “No problem, thank you both very much!”“We’re glad we could help.”***Dear Diary,
As I write on this final page, I want to thank you for being a safe space foDana and Joana had decided on the next step they would take. They would fly to London tomorrow night with Derick to meet with the wingless pixie in the enchanted forest. Joana had learnt quite a lot over the past weeks and was now ready to go on her first adventure. She hoped that they would be able to find the pixie, as Dana hadn’t visited the forest ever since she went there with Marylin. As soon as the sun set, they began their journey. They flew throughout the night, and when the sun began to rise again, they landed on the ground so they could drink some vamscren to help them continue the journey near the sun, as they did not want to stop until they got there. They flew for about two hours after taking some vamscren before they reached London.“We have arrived,” Dana said to her. “We will soon get to the forest.”They kept on flying for sometime until Dana landed in front of a large river. The other two did the same.“Why are we stopping here?” Joana
“What? Who said that? Please come forward, introduce yourself and tell us how you intend on removing the Odinbre,” the queen said, thinking it was a teeny-weeny pointed eared pixie that had spoken.Suddenly from behind the trees that stood behind the meeting point, three large vampires, Dana and her friends came out to meet the pixies. No one had noticed them standing there since, as everyone was in a panic situation over what was about to befall Pixieland. The crowd of pixies turned to see them as they came out from behind the trees.“Welcome,” the queen said. “I am glad that you are here. Please come forward, the enchanted forest has not had visitors in years. What group of mystical creatures do you belong, if I may ask?”“We are vampires,” Derick responded to her as they walked forward.“Oh, I see, then you will have no problem removing the tree, as I know very well that vampires are blessed with great strength and immortality. Thank you for offering to he
Derick flew high up in the air with the tree still in his hand and out of the enchanted forest, he dropped the tree into the large river where the forest lay and it fell inside with a large splash, and that was the end of the old Odinbre tree. He flew back into the forest to meet with the queen, Joana and Dana, who stood at the now empty spot where the Odinbre stood before.“We thank you once again for your help. We will begin planting a new tree here. It might not be as big as the Odinbre was and surely it will take years to grow, but we do not mind the wait as long as our land is now safe.“So, let us now find this pixie of yours.”They all sat down with the queen and Dana described everything to them, starting from the visit her and Marylin first had here to the point where they were looking for the second diary.“Ok then, so what you’re saying now is that this pixie does not have wings?”“Yes.”“Can I see the diary that she gave you?”Joana brought out
“An indicator? What is that?”“The name already tells you what it does. It’s a special kind of dust that lights up whenever it’s around my magic, new or old. We will test it on this diary now, and if it lights up, then it definitely will work for the second one.”“Well, is it right here with you now?” Joana asked.“No,” Mariana said. “I will go and get it from my house. It’s not far from here.”“Ok.”Mariana flew back to her house in Pixieland and within a matter of minutes, she came back with the indicator in a small jar which was kind of big for her to carry.“Bring out the diary,” she said to Joana.Joana brought out the diary and held it in her hand. Mariana held the jar near the indicator, and then the magic dust inside it began to glow.“There you see,” Mariana said, showing them. “It will work just the same way on the other diary. You can have it now.”She handed the indicator jar to Joana who then put it back in her bag along
Joana found a large blue book one day titled ‘the council of five.’ She didn’t know if it was the right one, but she hoped it would be as she felt her eyes were going to fall out any moment over the countless number of texts she had to read for the past few months before she was able to find this one.She opened it and began to read what it said, it mentioned the supreme council, describing their glory as gods and all they had done to bring the mortal and immortal realms into existence. She had read something similar to this in other books but what she really needed to find was how she could locate them. She kept on reading for a while until she finally thought she found what she was looking for.She read a chapter that talked about the journey to the heart of mother nature, the center of the earth, the five ancient stones surrounding the middle. the middle representing the heart, and the stones representing the council of five. She wondered if that was where she w
She then felt a thick array of fog surrounding her, the fog went round and round her until she felt it begin to lift her up. It lifted her from the ground and took her to the skies, as fast as the speed of lightning. She tried to break free from its grasp, but as light as the fog was, if felt as if a large hand was holding her tightly. The fog finally dropped her in an opening. Surrounding her was not the five large stones anymore, but each member of the council of five, seated on their thrones.“Are you the one who summoned us?” One of them, the first member said to her.“Yes,” Joana said nervously.“And why did you do so?”“I came here before, in a first life,” she said. “And I have come again to ask of the same thing I asked for the last time I came here. I want my mortal life back.”“Oh, I remember you now,” the third member said. “You are Marylin Lou, the one who loved that human boy.”“Yes,” Joana said.“We had an agreem
Suddenly, she spotted a dark figure flying towards where she was. She squinted her eyes further and saw that it was Derick! She couldn’t believe herself but she never thought that she would be so happy to see him. He landed between where she lay and the hungry pack of wolves. The wolves upon seeing him, began to charge at him with full force. Joana, who felt scared that they would kill him, tried to stand up to help him. Much to her surprise, he didn’t need her help. One by one, he began tearing them to pieces with his fangs and claws as they were coming, she watched him as he fought down the pack effortlessly, showing them no mercy as they kept charging.Joana watched him as he battled in front of her, not letting any of the wolves get to where she was, the blood of his opponents dripping down from his mouth, staining his hands and his chest. Not minding the situation, she imagined how delicious it would taste if she licked it off him. Ugh get a grip girl.He had
Joana sat at the library sulking as she stared at the books in front of her. She couldn’t believe that she had to go back to reading again as Dana, Derick and the other coven members didn’t know where to find the other three ingredients except the pixie dust, and of course, her immortal blood. To make things worse, she had been having a lot of strange dreams about her and Derick, she tried everything within her power to make them stop. She tried to avoid him as much as she could and even suspended her training with him but none of these seemed to solve the problem. She had already spent so much time on her quest, and at this point, she didn’t know what to do anymore. She was so deep in thought that she didn’t even notice when Derick entered the room.“Hey,” he said, startling her. “Have you been able to find anything?”“No,” she said. “It’s like whenever I see a solution, like the pixie diary or the supreme council, I go for it thinking that I’m one step closer
