One late Sunday afternoon :Rose point of views :I have almost given up on the idea of stalking him already in just four days. Apparently, the three almost sleepless nights waiting for him to leave has taken a toll on me.Letting out another yawn, I thought furtherHe did not go out late nights nor did I find anything odd in the last four days. Of Course because of college life, I couldn't stalk him the whole day but as much as I could, I have only seen him going from home to the laboratory. He was back home on time too.This isn't how I expected it to be. The over-tiring process and the futile results are now crushing down my will and determination to find the answers.Taking a deep sigh,I turned to look at Daniel who was busy working on his laptop in the living room"Confronting him would have rather been an easier option" I told myself in mere whisper staring at him Sighing,"But that would have been futile too" I muttered under my breath.How would I ever get my answers this way

Rose's point of views :My heart skipped a beat as I read the message.It was clear he is up to something and that something is gonna happen tonight.I stood rooted on my spot with my eyes fixed on the chat message which said "Tonight?" Flashback:She moved a step back. There was fear in her doe like eyes. He despised himself for causing that fear. Why is she scared of him? He would never hurt her.She looked back at him as if she has seen a ghost. He called out her name "Rose.." He was gentle than before. But she started hyperventilating and before he could do something, she fainted.End of flashback.Present scenario :Rose's point of views :"Did she have proper dinner?"I blinked my eyes open. My vision was blurry. Make sure she intakes a lot of fluid. She'd be fine." Later the evening,Rose's point of views :I was busy with the college assignments when I heard the sound of the telephone ring.Quickly getting down the bed, I walked towards it and picked it up saying "Hello" But I heard no response from the other side."Hello" I said again for the second time.Still nothing.Strange!"Who is it?" I asked once again but got no response back.Sighing, I placed the phone back down.Walking inside the bedroom, I dialed Daniel to know if he had called for anything.As soon as he picked up the call, I asked him straight away "Hi, did you just call on the landline?" "No," he replied, sounding puzzled.Strange!"Oh okay. Because someone just called but did not say anything hence I thought..." I was talking when he abruptly interrupted me by saying "Rose, how many of your friends have got the landline number of our house?" Huh?"Uh, just Jessy but why would she call on the landline number? Daniel's point of views :"Rose, Listen to me very carefully. Shut every door and windows of the house and don't cut the call. Okay?" I told her.I was losing my composure now. Rose's point of views :"What's happening?" I asked back, staying frozen on my spot.I couldn't help feel puzzled, anxious and perturbed."It's nothing. I am on my way home. Then why did I feel what I felt in his presence?Why did I feel safe and relieved seeing him back home? There was certainly an undeniable connection. A week later,As Rose sat in the backseat of the car by his side, she felt a pang of conscience asking her why is she still with him?The thought has been bothering her for a long time now.
