Back in the basement

Mia never thought she would be standing inside that dreaded basement again. She thought she is dreaming again. But the pain after her pinch proved that this is real. She is really standing in the middle of the Basement again. But this time she is not alone. Reed is standing beside her and Matteo is standing near the Basement door.

"What the..." she muttered.

This is the same place where she was held, but at the same time, this is not. The basement where she was held was dark, dingy and dirty. But the basement she is standing now is a beautiful poly house with lots of Blooming flowers. The smell of soil abd the scent of Jasmine's is strong here.

Mia cannot believe that this is the same place. No blood or the bodies here. Nothing that is making her feel nostalgic. She moved around the basement and found every inch filled with flowers. She sat on the ground, ignoring the mud.

She remembered about how she suffered here in this very place. But now, this place changed beyond recognition. N
