He came in disguise as to not alert Nicolas of his presence and as a try to befriend his run away fiance to somehow find out his reasons for leaving. "May I say something?" Hugo was one to say a whole lot so even if Edward didn't give him permission he knew he would hear a comment of what the accounted really felt about things. "Say it" he said as he fixed the fake mustache he had made sure to include in his disguise. Hugo cleared his throat. "You are here to do what exactly? Your highness you have found your fiance but you still want to play games with him instead of dragging him by the hand and taking him home?" Edward gave him a sharp look. "I cannot drag him along. Hugo if I haven't been more plain to you before let me be very clear right now. Nicolas is not bound by anything. He is free to do what he wants. I will not force him into things."

Epilogue Nicolas couldn't in anyway say that he could understand or even want to explain the feelings that he had been invoked right at this point. At this moment. "My little gift. Oh my dear baby. To think that today you wouldn't be in this world breaks my heart. I have never loved anyone like I love you."
