Dr. McBain pulled us to the side to talk to him, he looked horrified at what he was about to tell us. Zavier was on the couch, playing with his tablet looking sad. I stood behind my Mate as she was sitting in a chair sobbing quietly, holding Abijahs hand. He bowed then sighed deeply a sad frown on his face saying,

"Alpha, Luna, we've done a full scale examination of Ms. Nichols and.." he paused taking off his hat running his fingers through his salt & pepper hair, his brown eyes haunted,

"She's lost a lot of blood so we had to give her a transfusion. She has bruises over 90% of her body, she's missing patches of her hair, most of the bones in her face are fractured and her body has multiple broken bones. Which is why we have her in a body cast."
