THE VOICE OF THE CONVERSATION FABIANS

Selena and I are sitting in front of my father's desk, with my sister and brother on either side of us. He is standing right next to me, Selena's brother, who will be my beta when I take over as the pack's Alpha. The couch next to the desk is occupied by Selena's parents. We are all three staring back at my parents as they look at us three as though we did something wrong.

I inquired as to what we would be discussing that required everyone to be here. We need to discuss what will happen to move ahead now that you both are aware of your friendship, Selena said.
