Chapter Thirteen: Emily's POV

I stared coldly at the receding back of Alpha Leonard. He hated me, and I hated him as well. It was completely mutual.

“Why did he look at you like he hates you?” Victor asked and I chuckled bitterly.

“It’s because he does. But he has no choice than to deal with me now, especially with the fact that I am the mother of his grandchildren.” I answered and started to walk inside.

“Where do you think you are going?” Emma asked, standing in my way and I shot her a look.

I was really in no mood to get into an argument with her, but of course, I wasn’t going to let her bully me. I was no longer that silly weak omega with low self esteem.

“To the room designated to me, Emma. Where else?” I clipped back at her.

“This is no place for you. You do not have any place in this house, and that’s it.” She said, crossing her arms and staring coldly at me.
