Chapter 0012

Snow charged over like she had become the Flash and slapped her right hand over Kiran’s mouth. She even threw herself into his arms.

It became clear to Kiran that he had been toyed with. He also learned that this Snow Xander had been his fiancee all along, and she was also the one who sent him the picture.

He also figured out that Harold and Snow had both set him up yesterday, which was why he had picked up the megaphone and began shouting. He was angry.

As for attacking Fabian and his bodyguards just now? He had to do it. This was a family matter, and he would not allow Snow to cheat on him.

Meanwhile, Snow had to stop Kiran from shouting. She would die of embarrassment if she did not.

Kiran then remembered the month-long torment he went through and the nightmare he had on the train. He felt so frustrated that he wanted to scream, so he decided to do just that.

He pulled down Snow’s hand and immediately held her wrists so that he could shout.

In a moment of desperation, Snow kissed Kiran.

How bold! How proactive! How passionate!

The onlookers had not left. They originally thought that Kiran was just a fake, but when they saw Snow kissing him, they were shocked.

In the next second, they started shouting, “Kiss him!”

Those cries rang loud and clear.

Snow wanted to crawl into a hole and die, but she did manage to break free.

She quickly hugged Kiran and gave him a pleading look.

This was the first time a woman kissed Kiran, and he was stunned as he thought. “Are all city women this bold?”

When Fabian heard the people clamoring for Snow to kiss Kiran, he opened his eyes and saw Snow kissing Kiran. He was so offended by the sight that he shouted, “Put me down!”

The four bodyguards quickly put Fabian down, but just when he was about to go back, he suddenly saw a car parking near Kiran and Snow. A man dressed like a bodyguard came down with a marriage license. “Ms. Snow, Mr. Harold asked me to deliver your marriage license.”

Marriage license?

They had really gotten married?

The crowd fell silent.

Snow let go of Kiran to take the marriage license. She then waved it at the crowd. “This is my marriage license with Kiran.”

She was putting every ounce of her effort into sealing Kiran’s mouth shut.

“They’re really married!”

“Look! They’re smiling so happily!”

“They’re a match made in heaven!”

Once the crowd saw what was going on, they started piling praises on Kiran and Snow.

Snow finally felt her worries fade away. There was no way Kiran would throw aside his sense of shame and continue calling her a morbidly obese, ugly woman.

She was right; he did not.

If he did, he would be admitting that he had just been kissed by someone he found ugly.

Kiran did not have that sort of kink, thank you very much.

However, he had one thought left in his mind: divorce Snow!

When Snow saw Kiran relenting, she said sweetly, “Let’s go to the office. I need to tell you something.”

Office? Tell him something? Marriage license?

Many people let their imaginations run wild. Some of them were even imagining Kiran and Snow doing the deed in the office.

Fabian had been suppressing his rage and frustration, but he could no longer do it. He screamed in anger and misery.

Then, in his rage, he coughed up blood and fell face forward.

The four bodyguards quickly picked him up and sent him to the hospital.

Snow dragged Kiran into her office.

The moment they got inside, Kiran broke free from her grasp.

Snow then dug her fingers into her hair, and it looked like she was about to go nuts. Rage burned in her eyes as she glared at Kiran, and she thought. “You petty *sshole! You actually wanted to humiliate me in public?!”

Kiran could sense the rage in Snow’s gaze, and he looked at her coldly. “Why did you lie to me and toy with me?”

Since she was burning in rage, Snow immediately adopted an overbearing attitude now that they were alone in her office. “Because it amused me! What are you going to do about that?!”

Kiran wanted to yell at her. “It amused you? Do you have any idea just how traumatized I was by your picture?”

“Hmph! Well, aren’t you fragile at heart?” Snow scoffed at him.

“Did you and your grandfather trick me into getting married because you both knew I was here to cancel the engagement?”

“What do you mean by that? You make it sound like I can’t get married. Look at who came to propose to me. He was richer and more powerful than you are! I have plenty of admirers in Bayville! I don’t need to worry about not being able to get married.”

“You have plenty of admirers, huh? I’m not into someone like you. I want to cancel our engagement,” Kiran said angrily.

Snow glared at him. While she had no feelings for Kiran, she still felt hurt by what he said.

Not into someone like her?

All she did was send him a photoshopped picture of her.

Why was he insisting on canceling their engagement?

It was as if she was the frog prince, and he was the princess.

“Are you an idiot? There’s no engagement to cancel now. If we want to split up, we need to get a divorce.” Snow stared at Kiran like he was mentally challenged.

“I know that we have to get a divorce, but we have to get through the procedure of canceling our engagement too.” Kiran stubbornly insisted.
