Chapter 16: Could It Be?

Killian chuckled to himself at hearing Irene being called madam by one of the servers in the shopping centre when they had just entered one of the shops.

"Didn't she recognise Irene before? Oh, maybe a new employee; it’s appropriate not to recognise Irene, a regular and respected customer at the store."

"Call the manager of this shop. I want to talk!" said an annoyed Irene, who had just entered one of the shops.

"Sorry, ma'am, he can't be disturbed," she replied briefly.

"I see!" Irene was annoyed, and without wanting to linger any longer and waste time, Irene immediately took out her phone, selected a contact number and pressed it.

Not long after, in a room of the shop on the third floor, they heard a phone call, and the owner glanced to see who was calling him. Upon seeing the name on his phone, the store manager hurriedly picked up the phone.

"Hello, Miss Adler. How can I help you?" he respectfully said into the phone.

"You come out to the front right now! I'm in your shop. P
