Diannah’s Pov:-

“Surprised?” He asked in his deep husky voice,

What is he doing here?

I blinked in confusion while I stared at his face which had an annoying smirk and had a glint of mischief in his eyes.

“Why are you here?” I asked while fear began increasing inside me as whatever happened in the woods rushed back to my mind.

I can’t let him move closer to me, I must stay away from him... it’s for my own safety, I thought while swallowing hard and staring at him.

“Here,” He said while extending his hand towards me, I glanced down and saw a book in his hand.

“What is it?” I asked,

“A book… if you can see!” He replied in a mocking tone,

I glared at him while taking the book, “Thank you,” I said and shut the door on his face.

I turned around while staring at the book, “What book is this?” I mumbled while turning it around,

I rolled my eyes and turned back, I opened the door and glared at him, “What?” I asked while folding my hands.
