Chapter 12

Author's POV

Ace entered his cabin and started waiting for her.

After some time he saw she was coming towards his cabin.

Ace stood up quickly and went towards the window. He looked outside-facing his back towards the door.

Soon he heard a knock at his door.

"Come in," Ace said and she entered his cabin.

"You are one minute late Ms. Williams," Ace said

"I am sorry sir. It will not happen again" Amelia said.

"Better. Did you read the contract carefully?" Ace asked her.

"No sir. It was a formal contract which everyone has to sign, so I did not read it" Amelia said.

Hearing this, Ace smirked. He knew she would not read the paper somehow.

"Well. Good for you. As you are PA now, so it is your duty to solve my problem" He said.

"Sure sir," Amelia said.

"Pick up the magazine from my table and look at the picture. I want that girl" Ace said to her.

Hearing this Amelia got confused but nonetheless, she picked up the magazine and looked at the picture.

Ace turned towards her.

As soon as her eyes fell on the picture, Amelia felt someone poured a full basket of ice on her head.

Amelia gulped down in fear. When she looked at the man she got another shock.

The man was no other than the person whose car glass she broke in anger.

She kissed the same person that night.

"Amy baby, say bye to the world. You are dead" Amelia muttered.

"The face seems familiar. Doesn’t it?" Ace asked her finally breaking her thoughts.

The magazine fell from her hand in shock.

"Nice to meet you, Ms. Amelia Williams. Welcome to my company" Ace said and sat down on his chair where Amelia kept looking at him with shock.

"You!" Amelia whispered.

"Yeah. I am the same person. Ms. Williams, you didn't answer, do you know this girl?" Ace asked her.

"I. ..umm..uh..no. I don't know her. How can I know her? Her face is not clear" Amelia said to him.

"Is that so?" Ace asked her.

"Yes," Amelia said.

"So, basically you are saying if her face was clear, you can help me to find her" Ace said.

Amelia gulped down in fear.

"Yes. But as her face is not clear, let's forget about her. You have this big company to run. Forget about this girl" Amelia said to him.

Ace smiled hearing this.

"Ms. Williams, what did you see when you entered the company gate?" Ace asked her.

"Many reporters" Amelia answered.

"Right. Do you know why are they here?" Ace asked her.

"No," Amelia said.

"They want to know about the girl who kissed me that night in the club." Ace said and Amelia's face went white in fear.

"B...bu..but her face is not clear. They d..don..don't know her" Amelia said.

"That's why they are here. If they knew who the girl is, they would be outside of her house now" Ace said to her.

"So wha....what should I do about it?" Amelia asked.

"Right. What should you do about it when you don't know the girl" Ace said and opened a drawer then took out a envelope then put it on before her.

"Will you look at the picture?" Ace asked her.

"What is in it?" Amelia asked him.

"Something interesting" Ace said and leaned against his chair.

Amelia picked up the envelope and opened it.

She found some photos inside the envelope.

Amelia took out the photos and her eyes widened in shock.

Those are her photos. One photo when she came upstairs.

Another one when she grabbed his hand and made him turn towards her.

Another one was when she kissed him.

And the last one when she ran away. All of the photos were clear.

"You broke his car then kissed him then the same person turned out to be your boss. Luck, it is your luck baby. Now kick off the job and run away" Amelia's mind shouted at her.

Amelia looked at her boss who was smirking at her.

"I want to leave this job" Amelia spoke up.

Ace chuckled.

"I have never thought you will turn out this profitable" Ace said.

"Profitable? Do I look like a product to you?" Amelia asked him.

"More than this. Who will believe I just gained 5 million without any work? Impressive" Ace said.

"What do you mean? Why will I give you 5 million?" Amelia asked him.

"Sweetheart, let me tell you something. Never sign anything without reading. Now go through the contract you just signed. I suggest you start checking from the last." Ace said and pushed a paper towards her.

Amelia took the paper and started reading from the last page.

33. You have to be his girlfriend for six months.

34. In those six months you cannot date anyone.

35. You have to talk nicely in public places.

36. If you break any of these rules, the CEO has the right to sack you from this job.

37. If you leave this job before 3 years of your joining, you have to pay 5 million dollars. And if you become unable to pay the amount, the CEO can sue you.

When she finished reading it she looked at Ace with anger.

"What the hell is it? You trapped me" Amelia shouted at him.

"Thanks to me that I made my cabin soundproof or people will think wrong about me hearing you shouting," Ace said and Amelia looked at him with anger.

"Now, coming to your question, did I tell you to sign the contract without reading? No. It was you who signed it without reading it. I did not force you. By signing the contract you agreed to my all conditions" Ace said to her.

"Tear the paper and run out. Tear it now and vanish in the air" Amelia's mind shouted at her.

Amelia was about the tear the paper when her boss spoke up," Do not even think that if you tear the paper you will get rid of this contract. It is not the original copy. The original copy is inside my laptop and in the law department section. Also, I have sent it in your mail too. But, if you think tearing it will give you the pleasure you can do it. Come one go ahead" Ace said.

Amelia looked at him and spoke up," It was a dare. I kissed you because of that. You cannot use the kiss against me like this"

"Baby, for you it was a dare but for me, it is my reputation. Media is barking around my mansion and company like hungry dogs. As you started it now you have to end this. Be my girlfriend for six months" Ace said.

'Never. Ever. I will not become your girlfriend, you Playboy " Amelia shouted at him.

"I did not tell you to be my girlfriend for real" Ace said.

"Means?" Amelia asked.

"You have to act like my girlfriend for six months," Ace said.

"Act or real. I will not do it" Amelia said.

"Then be ready to go to the jail," Ace said.

"I did not do any crime that I have to go behind the bar. It is nonsense" Amelia said.

"It was written on the contract and you signed it. It is the big proof" Ace said.

Amelia took a deep breath.

"Why can I not date anyone during this time when I only have to act like your girlfriend?" Amelia asked him.

"Fake or real you have to be loyal to me. So, you cannot date anyone" Ace said.

"No one will believe that I am your girlfriend," Amelia said again.

"Leave it on me," Ace said.

"I have two conditions," Amelia said.

"What?" Ace asked her.

"I do not want my parents to know about it. So, you have to hide it from the media" Amelia said.

"Deal," Ace said.

"You cannot kiss or touch me in public," Amelia said.

"Does that mean, I can do it when we are alone?" Ace asked and Amelia looked at him angrily.

"As we will act as a sweet couple, so I can't promise that I will not touch you. But I will not cross my limit" Ace said.

Amelia nodded at him.

"So, you are agreeing to do this?" Ace asked her.

"Yes. Sir" Amelia said.

"Call me by my name," Ace said.

"I do not know your name," Amelia said.

"Are you for real? You came here to be my assistant but you don't even know my name" Ace asked her.

"What is in the name?" Amelia asked him.

"Right. Nothing is in the name Ms. Joke" Ace said seriously.

"It is Ms. Williams, not Joke," Amelia said.

"Really? But you just said what is in the name." Ace said with a smirk.

Amelia cursed him in her mind.

"The next room is your cabin. Go, first search on me. I want to hear every details about me from you. Also, after you finish the task, make a cup of black coffee for me then come to my cabin. You have half an hour. The door is this way" Ace said.

"Devil. Mannerless devil" Amelia whispered and left his cabin.

Ace smiled when she left then picked up the file and put it in his drawer. Actually, it was the main contract. When Ace saw she was about to tear it, he tricked her.

Although, he has another original copy on his laptop.

 

At Amelia Room

"Think before you take a step"

Didn't you learn that in school?

Now see! You got trapped in the devil trap?

Search about him?

The hell with him. Why will I search about him?

Is he some other creature?

Or does he think he has some supernatural ability so I need to search about him?

"Damm you. Damm me. Damm everything" Amelia cursed and sat down on her chair.

She opened her office laptop and went to the search option.

"What should I write?" Amelia thought then started writing.

"Who is the present owner of King Corporation?"

Amelia typed.

After some time she saw several pages came in front of her.

"The present owner of King Corporation is Mr. Ace King"

Amelia saw it with a smiling picture of her devil boss.

Ace King. It should be Axe King. Bloody son of a Bitch. You want to hear about yourself right. Now I will tell you who actually you are.

Amelia cursed then typed again.

"All bad habits and harmful things about Ace King"

Amelia typed and smiled. When the results came, she opened the first page immediately.

Ace King,

He is known as the golden boy from childhood. He won several awards in his academic career. His parents sent him to London when he was five years.

He completed his study in London.

What is this?

It is called bad things?

You useless G****e. You said you have everything to serve.

Amelia cursed the G****e then went to the next page.

Ace King,

He joined the business when he was 17 years only. Seeing his age, everyone tried to get benefit from him but Ace King proved nicely that brains didn't come with age. He handled his business so nicely from the beginning. When he completed his Masters in Management and Finance he took over the CEO seat.

In the business world, he is known for his sharp brains and dominating, controlling, and aggressive nature.

"What the hell is this?" Amelia closed the page angrily.

"Is this called bad things? Ha ha ha? Amelia almost shouted then she started typing again.

"How many one-night stands Mr. Ace King had?"

When the results came Amelia entered the first page immediately.

Ace King has never been seen with a girl. Although few businesses men says he is a Playboy but no one has never seen him with any girl.

"What the hell is this? Why doesn't he have any one-night stand? He is not a man. Yeah. Right he is not a man. Then is he gay?" Amelia said and typed again.

"Is Ace King a gay?"

When the results came, Amelia got frozen seeing the result.

"Results error. Before trying again prove that you are not a robot"

Amelia gritted her teeth then came out from the G****e option.

Then she entered there after some time.

"Who is the last girl Mr. Ace King has dated?"

Amelia searched again.

As soon as the result came, Amelia entered the first page.

"Mr. King never had any girlfriend. But recently we found him kissing a girl in a club. We are still searching for the girl"

Reading this, Amelia got nervous.

She came out from the page and typed  again "Who kissed Mr. King?"

Several results came immediately. Amelia started reading them.

"A ghost girl kissed Mr. King in a club then vanished in the air"

"Is she his secret wife?

"Did she leave him?"

"Did they have kids?"

"Did the girl cheat on him then left?"

Amelia fisted her hand after reading this.

She saw a comments section there. Amelia entered there to see the comments.

"Who is the witch?

"How dare she kiss him?

"Why is her face not clear? Has she had a horrible face?"

"Hell with this girl"

"Did she sleep with him?"

"Noooooo" Amelia shouted after reading those.

"It is happening because of me. Why did I go there. No, it is his fault. Why was he standing there? Why is he so popular? " Amelia kept muttering when her eyes fell on the clock.

"Damm, I have spent 25 minutes on these bullshit results. I have to make his coffee" Amelia said and left her cabin hurriedly.

After making his black coffee she knocked at his door.

"Come in," Ace said and Amelia entered his cabin.

She put the coffee on his table.

"Did you complete your task?" Ace asked her.

"Yes sir," Amelia said.

"Then start," Ace said and took the coffee cup.

Amelia started telling him.

After she was done. She picked up the empty cup.

"Can I go now, sir?" Amelia asked her.

"Sure you can go after answering my one question," Ace said.

"Which question?" Amelia asked.

"Do I really look like a gay to you?" Ace asked and Amelia's eyes widened in shock.

"How did he know it?" Amelia's mind cried out.

"Before you ask how I end up knowing it, let me tell you something. Your laptop is connected with me" Ace said and Amelia opened her mouth like a fish then closed it immediately.

"How dare you do this? Don't you know the word privacy?" Amelia shouted at him.

"It is not your home where you can keep privacy, Ms. Williams. You are my personal assistant. I have every right to know what my PA is doing. I am quite impressed after watching your search history. Good job" Ace said.

Amelia felt like digging the ground and put Ace King in it or put herself in it. As she felt both anger and embarrassment.

"So, who is the last girl I bedded or dated Ms. Williams?" Ace asked her with a smirk.

"The useless goggle said the son of....." Amelia stopped immediately when she realized what she was going to say.

She covered her mouth and looked at her devil boss who was looking at her dangerously.

"Complete the sentence and if I find the word a bit bad I swear you are going to regret it forever," Ace said.

Amelia gulped in fear.

"Complete it," Ace said again.

"Son of a.....of a King. Yeah. You are the son of a King. The goggle said the good boy Ace King doesn't have any one-night stand or girlfriend" Amelia said and sighed in relief.

Ace smirked at her smart mouth. He stood up and walked towards her.

"Why are you coming close? Look, stay away or I am going to shout," Amelia said and started taking back steps.

"Go on. Shout but mark my word no one will dare to enter the cabin. And most importantly, my cabin is soundproof sweetheart" Ace said to her.

Soon Amelia's body hit against the wall.

Ace smirked and put his hand on either side of her.

Ace bent down to her level.

"Do you want me to prove to you that I am not a gay?" Ace asked in his husky tone.

Amelia gasped in fear.

"Tell me, sweetheart? Do you want me to prove it?" Ace asked her again.

His breath was falling on her neck.

Amelia felt her body went weak. Something strange started happening inside her.

"No" Amelia whispered.

Ace smirked then spoke up, "But I don't want my sweet PA to stay in confusion and doubt"

Before Amelia understood the meaning of his word, she felt his cold lips falling on her.
