Fenrir POV.

This is my fault, but she needed protecting, more now than ever. Her ex is despicable to do that to her with her own mother and then say what he did to her. I knew she was speaking the truth. I would have known if she was lying to us.

I can’t let her go back. It’s not that I wouldn’t be able to find her again. Of course I could. Her scent will always call to me. Her scent is a delicate mixture of strawberries and watermelon.

During the dreams we could never pick up her scent but when we saw her in the diner, her mouth watering scent hit us and so we will always be able to find her. However, with her ex being around, it is for her safety.

“Yeah, keep telling yourself that Fen, you and I both know it’s nothing to do with her ex. It’s because of you. You can’t bear to not be around her and so you have brought here and now she is refusing to eat or speak to us. This is on you, Fen.” My wolf has to butt in, but he is right, of course.
