Reyna's POV

The shock of what had happened was the only way I could describe how I was feeling. It was the only way I could make myself believe why I had agreed to what Balor demanded I do.

I lied in my police report making it out to be a burglary gone wrong. My mother's statement matched my own, with a few extra details added to ensure that it wasn't just by chance that I got here as they broke in.

I looked at the broken furniture my mother, and I destroyed to make a more convincing scene. Her kitchen table turned over, and papers were scattered across the kitchen floor. A few picture frames were broken, along with a few mugs. Creed had been outside when this all happened, thankfully. Ivan forced my mother to put him out.
