Job opportunity

As Hazel promised, she found a job for me at the restaurant she was working at. To be honest, I needed a break from everything. Even hiding behind heavy makeup and a fake black wig, so I wouldn't be noticed.

It was Monday morning, my first day of reporting for work. I was clueless about my job, although Hazel filled me in about what I would be doing. To be more presentable and human-like, I settled for a black skirt reaching above my knees and a white long-sleeved tuck in a shirt. Black canvas did the trick.
