Chapter 30

The outdoor was bustling with life. Guests sat at their respective tables chatting away happy with wine glasses in their hands. It was 7pm. The blue sky had morphed into a dark blue shade filled with countless of stars, twinkling in the night. Slow relaxing classical music played in the background, the atmosphere was nice.

But Melissa wasn’t feeling the calm atmosphere at all. If she were not in this situation, them maybe she would’ve been able to enjoy the ambience of the outdoors. She sat at the table that was prepared for the married couple, with Gabriel sitting in front of her.
