Omnipresent narrator
The minutes tick by as Adhara calms down a bit and leaves for the interview she has worked so hard to get. With a lot of makeup on so that her puffy eyes don't show, she leaves for the interview at the best company in the country.
As Adhara leaves, ignoring her family, Jareth wakes up and looks at the money on the table with annoyance. As if it were a kind of deja vu, he gets up and smiles to see that this time, no note has been left for him.
Dazed, he goes into the bathroom and his mood drops several notches as he reads the message. Memories of the night and early morning make him smile for a brief second. Looking at the time, he steps into the shower and his body burns as the water touches his skin.
With his pelvis aching and his back burning, he steps out of the bathroom and smiles bitterly when he sees that he doesn't have his shirt. Tensing her jaw, she grabs her phone and asks for new clothes as she stares at the bed where they
Narrates JarethMy head is about to explode. I haven't been able to concentrate at work because I've been thinking about the woman who ends up in my bed for the second time. The first time, it seemed my fault for having followed her without knowing her, but, a second time, it can't be taken as a coincidence. It was as if we were destined and I, who don't believe in it, find it suspicious. I could say that my mother made it possible for me to lose my control last night, but why out of so many women, was she the one in my room?“You have me worried, my friend. That's the second time you've come in with marks this month," Jackson says and I sigh deeply.“You come in with marks at least three times a week. So, I don't understand why my marks should worry you.” I say a little annoyed that I always find out when I'm with that woman.“Mine is normal, my family is already worried because I still don't want to formalize something with one of t
Adhara sees the elegantly dressed people and is embarrassed. The old woman who had brought her, had not only confessed to her that she was immensely wealthy upon entering her as she called it 'old house' but, confirmed her wealth by giving her a period dress that could cost more than an entire neighborhood. So, she felt uncomfortable, her family was not poor, but, she clearly could not afford such luxuries. So, she wanted to take off the dress she had, before it did her a damage that would cost her a kidney.“Hello, fair lady," Jackson says and immediately Jareth growls, making him back away.“Good evening," Adhara whispers, feeling self-conscious about being in front of such elegant people.“Is something wrong, my dear?” Eda asks with a sweet smile on her lips.“Nothing, ma'am...”“Every," says Eda.“Mrs. Every” corrects Adhara “I was looking for the room where I got dressed, I need to ta
Adhara narratesI arrive home exhausted. Running so much leaves me out of breath. So, I get home and immediately lay down to sleep. However, I have practically put my head on the pillow when the screams are heard. Frustrated, I get out of bed knowing that it was not a good idea to have my family in the house. So, with my whole-body aching from running all over the place, I leave the room, surprised by everything that is happening in the house. Since, several people are taking objects out of the house as if they were theirs.I look at my father, who is holding his hands to his head and his wife is hitting him on the arm, while crying inconsolably, giving me a clear sign that things are bad.“How could you do this to us," Carrier asks angrily.“Darling, don't bother. I have enough gone on without you bothering me.” My father says and I walk over to him.“What's going on here? Why are they taking things from m
I looked around me, I was without a place to stay and without money. I was in serious trouble and the worst thing was that I had no one to turn to for help. Because I was alone, after my mother's death, I was left alone in this world, where my own father beats me because they took his precious wife.I walk dragging my suitcase and sit on the floor where not even cars pass by. I knew I couldn't stay and wait for life to work out for me, but I felt I couldn't go any further. The disappointment was getting the better of me and the hatred for my father was starting to show. The clouds begin to turn dark and the rain begins to dampen my body, while I see my mother's name on a tombstone. I know I shouldn't take refuge in a cemetery, but, this is where the last and only person who truly loved me is.“I knew you would be here.” says someone behind my back and I let the tears camouflage with the rain that has already drenched me completely.“
The next day.I wake up and get dressed in the best clothes I must go to work. Although I am not in the mood to go to work with everything that has happened to me, I gather strength from where I have none and leave with a few dollars that Mr. John gives me.“You only must walk a short distance to find the bus stop. On the way back, you should take the same route and everything will be fine," says Mr. John and I smile as I watch him walk me to the bus stop.“You don't need to accompany me, Mr. John. The directions you gave me are enough.” I say, but Mr. John denies.“This place is new to you. It's better if I come with you at least for today.” Mr. John says and I smile feeling lucky. My father never accompanied me to school or even made sure I was okay when I left for college or high school. But, remembering my past, Mr. John always did.“Thank you for always being here for me, Mr. John.” I murmur in gratitude.
We sit at a table where even the tablecloth is worth more than one of my kidneys and I look towards the exit to leave, although the two excited girls are practically looking only at me.“I really don't understand why you're staring at the place like you're in a slaughterhouse. You have Chanel clothes and your purse is a Gucci. So, you're wealthy. You can afford these luxuries," says one of the girls and I sigh deeply.“I was, until a few days ago. So, I can't afford something like that. sorry, guys, but, I can't afford something like that. I'll leave you, enjoy your lunch” I say trying to get up.But, one of the guys grabs my arm and with a smile, talks to me.“You don't need to leave, I won't become poor by giving you lunch. Besides, we talked about sticking together while we get used to the work environment here.”“I'm sorry, but I'm not interested in being friends with someone who is broke.” says one of the girls
The man almost drags me and what outrages me is that he does it in front of everyone who is eating and no one even gets up to help me, it is as if they are not graphically dragging me to my death. What's wrong with them, they don't care if they kill me? This is basically kidnapping, but, I can't even yell at them because they are influential people who might even sue me for yelling at them or just disturbing their lunch. So, I look up at the man pushing me and swallow hard.“Mr. Every, please, let's have a little talk, shall we?”“What you're accusing me of, you can't talk about, if not, act.” says the man who when I cling to a column, before disappearing from the crowd that relaxedly eats his lunch. He lets go of me and I hug the column with my arms and legs, not caring that I look very pathetic. It's better to make a fool of myself like this, than to do it without being able to walk, because from his anger, I can deduce that he is capabl
I still couldn't process what the man above me was accusing me of. Because, being honest, my luck would be too bad if the two times I slept with someone, that someone was the president of the company I started working for today and on top of that, he's an alpha of his pack. One of the scariest.“Mr. Every, let's talk please.”“If you have a lot of demands regarding positions and so on, you can say so here.” Mr. Every says and I try to push him away.“Sir, please stop playing games with me.”“Tell me something, Adhara, do you think I have time to play? You just told me in front of several people that besides having a tiny member, I'm a precocious, so, you should be thankful that I don't have you up against the wall, penetrating you in such a way that you can't tell if I'm fucking you or splitting you in two.”'Holy virgin of orgasms, this man is too angry!' I say mentally.“'I know you're right and I
