By the time I was sinking the last basket, I was soon having my fill of the game. It was time to go home after having made it known that I was back on the team.

My side was up by a decent number of points, and I was sure that I had made it clear to the coach that I was in good form— even better than that of some of the players who hadn't stopped for even a day.

“Alright, that's a wrap…” the coach said, blowing a whistle to bring the heated game to an end. For the past couple of moments, it had felt like it had been me against Kai all afternoon.
