The Winner

I was in awe of the results I was glancing at, in the school mail. The noisy class became dampened at once. I rapidly picked up my phone that fell on the ground and scanned it again. No! It can't be real! I used my hand to rub my eyes to be sure I was seeing clearly.

"You made it!" Laura screamed again as she rushed to give me a hug

"I'm so happy for you" she added

"How did she manage to top the whole class? That has been Ryan's position from his first day in this school" a student murmured

Yes! I got the first position! Not even the top ten! It was amazing! I wasn't expecting that.

Surprisingly, I scored forty-eight out of the fifty marks. Laura tailed after me and scored forty-six and the almighty Ryan? He scored forty-five while James scored forty.

"Thanks to you babe, you made it possible" I muttered as I clasped Laura again

"Nope, it was because you are clever. Also, thanks to studying with you, I beat Ryan for the first time!" She beamed in joy
