IVY POV Waking up to Beau being in my room was definitely a shock, but Asher dragging him out of the room was even more of a shock. I didn't know what their problem was but I had never seen them together before. Maybe they had always been like that. So I stayed in my room while they went to go and talk and I sat in bed looking out the window with my knees up to my chest trying not to think about what my mother went through before she died. But it was really hard not to when I received that photo and her finger in the mail. Jackson was definitely losing it. I knew that he was weird but he was just unhinged now. I finally got up and I walked to the bathroom to have a shower and I got dressed into a baggy shirt and jeans. ASHER POV "Why the hell would he take out the werewolf council?" I asked. "So that he can do whatever he wants with no one stopping him." I say. "Werewolves aren't going to be happy about that." I say. "Beau told me that he's been recruiting. He's gathering an army. He's taken out Alpha's of little packs and then taking over their packs." Dad explained. That's everything that Beau was telling him. "How big has he gotten his pack so far?" I asked him. "I'm not sure. No one is. He has then scattered everywhere. But they are too scared to go against him." Dad says. "We need to do our own recruiting." Ivy says. "What?" I asked. "Pretty soon his pack will be bigger than this one. And there is no way in hell that we can allow that to happen. If he becomes bigger than us then we are as good as dead. At least most of us will. The rest will be treated as slaves." I say. And I saw Cole put his arm around Olivia worried about what was going to happen to her. "How do we do that?"

"Have you spoken to the Alpha about this?" He asked. "I don't need to speak to the Alpha. You've seen everything that's going on. Him and his alliances have already agreed to stand up to Jackson. The fight will be here in no time. And I don't want to be left without being able to defend myself." I insist. "Alright. We'll talk about this tomorrow. With the Alpha. If you can convince him then we'll do it." He says. "No worries. He'll agree if it means that I can take care of myself and he doesn't need to be so worried about me." I say. And I walk up the other flight of stairs and I go back to my bedroom where Asher was still asleep. I changed into my pajamas and then I climbed into bed and I pulled the covers over both of us and I rolled on my side away from Asher to try and get to sleep. "Alpha. I am Elijah. I'm not an Alpha but I have found all these people in my travels. We come from all different packs who have survived Jackson. We come here seeking asylum because we know that Jackson won't be coming after you any time soon. Everyone knows that. Which makes this the safest pack in the world right now." The man says. And Alpha Asher looked at me. "How many people do you have here?" I asked. "There's 54 of us from 8 different packs. We need help. We wouldn't be here if we didn't." Elijah says. And I look at Asher with pity on my face. He knew that we couldn't turn them away. And I didn't want to. They came to us for a reason. "Alright. The following morning when I woke up Asher was still asleep and I looked at the clock and it said 8am. I knew that there was a lot of stuff to do and I tried to get up carefully but Asher pulled me back to him. " No. It's a stay in bed all day today." He says. " Yeah right. We both know that's never going to happen." I giggle. " I know. But I don't want to get up." He says. " We have. to. There's way too much stuff to do today. Come on." I say. " Fine." He says reluctantly getting up. And we both started getting dressed. Asher was finished before me and he said that he was going straight to the meeting hall. " I'll meet you there. I have to stop by the hospital first and then I will be there." I say. " Alright. Don't go anywhere without your guards." He says. " I know. They've been following me for days. Asher called a pack meeting and we all met at the training grounds since the meeting hall was all taken up. Everyone, even the refugees, came to the meeting and Asher stood up in front of everyone with Cole and his parents by his side. And to start with I was standing off to the side but he got me to stand up with them to face everyone. That was really nerve wracking. " How many people are in this pack?" I asked. " 3500. Not including the refugees." Cole answered me. And my eyes went pretty wide after that in surprise. " I didn't know that it was so big." I commented almost choking on my own words. " Alright. I know that you have a lot of questions about Jackson. It's no secret that we have been at war with him for months. He wanted two members of our pack that were new arrivals. I got to the meeting hall and two men were in there having an arguement about something that I knew nothing about. They were for two different packs and I ran in and got between them. " What the hell is going on in here?" I asked. " That asshole thinks that his pack was stronger than my pack. So I told him to prove it and he won't." One man yelled. " Are you f**king kidding me right now? What the hell is wrong with you two? Neither of you have a pack anymore. Look around you. This is it. This is what you have. You two are on each others side now. There are no more sides." I yelled. And they looked around at everyone else. No one were seperated into packs that they came from, they were all just getting along with everyone else not trying to make enemies and just trying to survive. " There is too much fighting going on outside this territory. Why would you want to start fighting here?" I asked. And that seemed to calm them down enough. But they went on other sides of the room.

ELSIE POV I was woken in the middle of the night to the entire building shaking and Henry jumped up right beside me and grabbed a hold of me to make sure that I was alright. It felt like an earthquake or something. But that made no sense here. We rushed out of our room and saw debri everywhere in the halls and the stairs were broken and we needed to be careful getting downstairs to the first floor. Henry tried to pull me outside when I noticed the basement door open. I stopped him and I ran to the basement and down the stairs where I saw everything in shambles. This is where the explosion originated from. I was sure of it. I was the guard lying dead on the floor and I ran to Beau's cell. Henry pulled out his set of keys and opened the door and Beau was unconscious on the ground. The two other prisoners weren't in their cell's. At least not all of them. I could make out little parts of them lying around but there was dust everywhere. We couldn't see a whole lot in the dark down
