CHAPTER SEVENTEEN: Meet Again

I let out a breath after throwing those thoughts. And of a sudden, I try to peek inside my bag when I mind to take and open it.

I thought of taking my phone inside my bag. I checked it as I opened the screen.

But when I checked it, I remembered that Kevin would call me to inform me if he was here already.

Speaking of Kevin–as I checked my phone, I saw on the screen that there was a missed call from him and there was also a text flashed on my phone's screen.

I immediately read his message. And when I opened it, he said on that text just a few seconds away that he’s now coming here.

I abruptly closed my phone’s screen and then I put it back inside my bag.

“Is there anything wrong, Lola?” I forget that Heaven was here. Maybe I paid too much attention to my phone and I didn’t remember his presence.

Goodness! Lola! Why did you forget?!

“Nothing. I check to look if Kevin texted me...” he just nodded and he just drank.

Of a sudden, I noticed Heaven turned his eyes somewhere before I averted
