Chapter 12 - Don't Blame Me

Since the party was organized to celebrate his birthday, Tyler had to go down to entertain his guests, so he left Jade alone in the room after he had dinner with her.

Jade decided to sleep early as she has to have a morning shift in the hospital the following day.

Though they are married, it was on paper only. As per agreement, they are not to sleep in the same bed.

Hence, Jade took pillows and laid down on the couch. Jade is a good sleeper, she didn't have to struggle to sleep, soon enough after she laid her back on the couch she slept like a log.

It was already midnight when Tyler returned to the room. As soon as he entered the room, his eyes searched for his wife but she wasn't on the bed. She was sleeping soundly on the couch like a baby.

"You easily get scared but when you see someone in need you forget about your fear so just you could help," he mumbled at his sleeping wife as he sat on the coffee table.

The lake was deep, rescuing a panicking person is dangerous as it wo
